I can’t believe they would pass up bread just because it was sliced. O,O

Well, they still ended up with bread. I sold it to them, but my coworker asked if they wanted it sliced, they said yes thinking it would be sliced like a bread bowl for soup, not like …slices… So we just grabbed two more loaves of bread, sliced them the way the customer wanted, & all was well.

Then I saw the bread there, snagged it and kind of yelled at/asked my manager WAIT CAN I HAVE THIS OR……… & because we couldn’t sell it already sliced like that, IT WAS MINE!!!!

#no but the actual amount of food that ends up being thrown away is REPULSIVE #heads up: if you send something back to a kitchen because it was wrong they are supposed to throw away the original dish #because of health codes & things #catpunx
