Boy Meets World 6.19 - Bee True
#I blame this show for my tendency to attach homoerotic undertones to boy relationships
See, what I loved about this show (amongst so many things) was that it showed young men being loving like that and without shame or any “omg, they must be gay” attached to it. Just, like, hey, it’s OKAY for friends to be sweet to each other and it has nothing to do with their sexuality or their masculinity. There was a very similar thing going on in Scrubs, but in Scrubs they went for the low-blow constant “question his masculinity” thing which Boy Meets World avoided so beautifully.

Topanga: I remember this one time, I was trying to help Cory with this poem we had for school. Not just the words of it, but the essence behind it. I went over to his house, he read the poem, and I danced all around his kitchen. And I put lipstick all over my face. I always thought that was the moment he fell in love with me.
