I’m completely willing set aside my
hatredfeelings for this show in order to replay this clip over and over again on my laptop.#are they supposed to be related? #because that shit is not translating
OKAY SO I’M REALLY GLAD THAT EVERYONE I’VE TALKED TO ABOUT THIS IS SHIPPING IT TOO
When I watched this yesterday, my first thought was “wait i thought they said Blaine hadn’t been in a relationship before lol what is continuity” and then the flashback happened and i was like “???” and then I googled it and WHAM! Brothers.
And the thing is, incest—when between consenting adults—is A-okay in my book. But Glee obviously wasn’t intending for this to be a love song between two brothers (because it’s Glee and it’s the mainstream and it’s Glee for fuck’s sake) and chose this song because it’s popular and didn’t care about the context. So just, what the ever-loving hell, Glee writers. One would think that a show with a narrative based almost entirely on songs in context would know not to make two brothers sing a song about a bad breakup.

suddenly overcome with Sam Evans feels???????
And at the end of it all, we held hands and smiled together, smiled for the first time in what felt like forever - so long in fact, that our faces twitched with unfamiliarity as we did. The sun had come out. Children were playing. It was over, and though she didn’t have to say it, I loved her for articulating it anyway. The words kissed my ears like a warm summer breeze.
“Glee’s been cancelled.”
